I believe we are doing flagging quests for VON, DQ, TOR and Abbot this weekend. Maybe a Tempest Spine run too if we have enough to run a full group thru.
Oh, think we will hit Guild Rank 15 today as well. Just a few k from it when I last looked.
Guild Renown 12
So the first day, we blasted thru and got to what, renown 6? Then 8 the next day? It looks like on a daily average, since then, we are nailed 1 level a day. Roughly 10-12k in renown xp. Not bad. I really don't expect to burn a level a day as we get closer to 20, but at this rate, we will have our ship withn the next couple of weeks ... if not sooner.
Anyhow, seems the best luck for us...using level appropriate characters are: (IE: Don't take your level 20 Uberdude thru Harvestdasher and expect to get anything... *wink*)
Quests: Low: Harvestdasher (a lvl 2 quest, run on elite got me 600 favor.... ransacked it) 2 chests per run. Coins too from each. Low-Mid: Irestone Inlet (didn't keep track, but I pulled a Guild Charm from each chest. If I had to guess, maybe 700 in 1 run.) Mid: Gwylans Stand (Easily pulled 700-800 here by myself.) Mid-High: Stormcleave Outpost (Easily pulled another 700-800 here.) Mid-High RAID: Tempest Spine (Alone I pulled about 1k, as a group... I think we totalled 10-12k for the run. We need to run this again so I can get an accurate count.)
Slayer:
The Desert: I didn't bother with all the chests, but in a undead and partial gnoll run, I racked up about 800.
I plan on running thru some High level stuff and see what happens. Specifically in the Inspired Quarter and the Orchard for slayers. Should be interesting....
Update: We ran Mindsunder several times last night and pulled (2) 1,000 pt renown tokens. Plus the other usual ones.
Guild Renown 10
Not too shabby. And those those wondering if we really do have the 'real' people behind our guild. Yes we do. Last count, nearly 32 active players, 19 of which were playing just moments ago. Here is a snapshot of who is on tonight...as we build a group for Tempest Spine again...and another couple groups running lower level and higher level quest runs.
Update:We are actually Guild Renown 10 as of end of day on 7-1-10.
Update 5 hitting the Server today
Today is the big day folks! Hopefully, the servers are stable after the patch (cough cough).... In any event, this is a great day!
Tempest Spine - All hands on deck
Well, just about. There were a several folks offline at the time...and a couple folks logging in after we filled it with LFMs... In any event the quest went great. Will post a pic here later.
As a side note, Cerveza has returned. It was great seeing him again. And, we have 2 new faces in our family: Kyrros and Azelrota. Welcome guys! Here is a snap shot of last night, minus about 8 other active players.
Update 5
Discussion in our forums!
Wasted in The 12...
Tudacor and Kraker, telling their stories to some beholders over a few pints of Ale....
Oh, Captain was doing shots at the time too.... :)
Chug , chug, chug, chug... !
Cheers guys! And thanks guys!

I think this is our official first nearly all-hands-on-deck RAID run. I think we could have filled a complete RAID group if 2 of the 6 other active players were on. And, we also picked up a new family member to boot...welcome Paralon! Great run through the Tempest Spine!
Only 3 deaths...
and nobody got knocked off!
Tempest Spine (on Elite)

Win a team of hirelings! Includes 1 standard and 4 gold seal contracts. (prizes delivered via in-game mail)
While no official word has been said, they plan to release the Guild Ship stuff in Update 5. Also, no official release date for Update 5... but my guess is it will happen in the next few weeks. One thing I can share is:
One of the DDO Forum guys spent a lot of time puting together all the Update 5 mentionables by Devs into this post. Be interesting to see just how much of it actually makes it into the release. Very interesting read and if accurate... LOTS of changes coming which will be great!
What else can I possibly say? Other than... use the forums! :)
Alternate Character Runs...and Mains too.
We seem to be bringing up a new wave or 2 of new characters. So... here are some random quest shots of us and our new characters.
Ritual Sacrifice (on Normal)
Madstone Crater (on Normal)
Gywlan's Stand (on Normal)
We've been busy lately as a family...more people on again!
Happy to see more people on again. I know things come and go in waves... but it looks like now, we are mostly on and running multiple level variation groups again. Also, looking forward to meeting some new faces again too.
Farming and XP Runs
Well well well, in one night (and I didn't snap a ton of pics that night... ) our farming runs yeiled 3 pairs of Spectral Gloves, a Spell Storing ring, many named weapons, a couple named shields and in general...we made out like bandits in the Desert. I still would like to run thru there for Bloodstones, Gloves and the Ring again. Though, I think the next area to target should be the Restless Isles. :)
Offering of Blood (on Normal)
Offering of Blood (again...on Normal)
Fun fun fun!!!
Madstone Crater (on Normal)
Pretty active lately
Nice to see everyone on...during the middle of the week! Working on getting the random alts in still people play on. Finally got CPTFunkSauce in last night, you all know him as Trembly and Healington. Of note, DWA/Reele is down with video card issues, so he is offline for a while till that is resolved. Other than that, we have had some pretty active nights lately.
How to Enter the new DDO Lottery
Here is the way to enter the Tasty Ham Lotto on MyDDO.com I entered ALL my characters with just 1 click. :)
1. Make sure you are signed in
2. Go to My DDO
2. At the very top of the page click on your My DDO name, this will take you to your "blog Page"
3. Click on the My Admin button, this will bring up your page options
4. On the left hand side, click "Appearances"
5. Click Widgets
6. Next to the DDO Lottery, click "Add", save your changes
7. Return to your blog page, on the bottom left hand side will be the Lottery button now
8. Select Enter Lottery
9. Click on the box in the top left hand corner that says "Enter All" (all your eligable characters will be shown)
10. Click "Submit" and good luck.
Update: Many of my characters were "Winning Entries" on our server, as well as other servers (as I have lots of characters spread around for name saving reasons...).
When I checked one of my characters "Kilowatts"...there was no login notice, anything in my pack, or personal bank BUT... there was an e-mail in my inbox (see image).
So, with that said, it looks like DDO Devs are testing a new feature to lure players into the MyDDO site with lottery prizes in the future. Not a bad idea if you ask me.
I really like that it goes to your inbox and not directly to your backpack.
Update 2: I was right. :) And yeah, I'm humble... :P
I'm going to go ahead and move this thread over to the my.ddo discussion...
- The primary instructions are in the introduction thread here.
- If you don't see any available lottos it means you could be inbetween drawings, they run pretty often but it is possible that you coincidentally hit a gap between when one ended and another was starting
- You can use the widget on your main player page to select which characters you want, it is a list with check boxes of all your characters. This first lotto is for "everyone" but in the future you will see all kinds, like a "drow only" lotto or a "high level character only" or "part rogue part monk warforged under level 10" and all kinds of wacky stuff in addition to more general themed lottos. If you have a bunch of characters, you may find it easier to just go to the character's individual page to sign them up for lottos.
- This week we're giving out hams, but once this experiment is complete, you could see all kinds of prizes! Everything from little things like hair dye to big things like hearts of wood, tomes, and more.
